It’s the beautiful time of year. College football begins in earnest this weekend, and we’re just one week away from the first of 256 regular season NFL games. OK, you can lop off the final 16 games for fantasy purposes.

When we are referencing Major League Baseball, we joke about the fact that “hope springs eternal” and watch fans turn a blind eye to the long run. The same thing applies to the NFL. Fans know their team has no chance of chasing a playoff spot or Super Bowl run.

But we’ll find stats wherever we can …

Gone is Peyton Manning. Tom Brady is suspended for the start of the season. We’ve got a new world order for Fantasy Football 2016.
