Clippers Fan Billy Crystal Asks FX To Channel DeAndre Jordan
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve undoubtedly heard the captivating tale of newly re-signed Los Angeles Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan. His sojourn to Dallas and the fallout over a decided lack of communication have become the stuff of internet legend and countless punchlines.
Suffice it to say, Jordan reconsidered his intent to sign with the Mavericks after playing cards and hanging with members of the Clippers, including coach Doc Rivers.
On Thursday night, longtime Clippers fan Billy Crystal used the DeAndre Jordan situation to address the cancellation of his FX series “The Comedians.” The comedy was jettisoned from the network’s lineup after a single season. Crystal co-starred in the series with Josh Gad. You may remember him as the voice of Olaf in “Frozen” or perhaps as “Headphones” in “The Internship.”
He’s hoping that the FX executives and number-crunchers reconsider the decision.
I just have to ask. What’s the best phrase for one changing their mind?
– Flip-Flop
– Cul-de-sac
– Pulling a DeAndre
