I saw the headline “On to Cincinnati” regarding Bill Belichick’s Wednesday press conference. Now, nobody expected the Patriots coach to reverse course and suddenly become verbose and forthcoming in the wake of Monday’s crushing loss to the Chiefs. His smirk and stare in his post-game press conference was about all you needed to see.
Well, he wasn’t looking to relive that debacle on Wednesday and channeled Arian Foster’s training camp efforts. “On to Cincinnati” will become a mantra going forward.
