Earlier this week, Alabama running back Derrick Henry posted a picture on Instagram that showed off his new car. As you’d expect, the post led to rumor, conjecture and speculation in the blogosphere.

Former college football star at West Virginia Pat White fueled the story with a post on Facebook. White wrote:

“Stop pretending like you didn’t know the crimson tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer.”
