Titus Young Sent Home After Latest Arguments During Packers Game
The Lions lost a close game to the Packers on Sunday, but that was hardly the end of that contest. Receiver Titus Young drew two penalties and appeared to prompt a heated discussion with the coaching staff. On Monday, it was announced that Young had been sent home for a week and would miss Thursday’s game against the Texans. Coach Schwartz referenced Young’s behavior and attitude as reasons for the decision when addressing the media.
Per Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press, Young was sent home from the team facility “as punishment for repeated on-field issues.”
Rookie Ryan Broyles steps into a more prominent role in his absence. More on this story as it develops.
