Sidney Crosby Suffers a Setback: Out Indefinitely
The NHL community celebrated the return of Sidney Crosby to the ice in mid-November against the Islanders. The national media followed Crosby’s rehabilitation efforts closely in his 10 months off of the ice and anxiously awaited his return. Crosby tallied four points (two goals and two assists) in his first game and scored 12 points with a +7 and 31 SOG in eight games.
Unfortunately, Crosby has been sidelined for the past week because of a return of post-concussion symptoms. He passed the league’s ImPACT test, but remains off the ice indefinitely. The Washington Post ran a piece from The Associated Press discussing Crosby’s injury and latest rehabilitation efforts.
