Harmon Updated Defense Rankings
The final rounds of the draft are reserved to fill two roster slots. After loading up on running back depth and building a deep receiving corps, fantasy owners roll toward defenses and kickers. Occasionally, some intrepid soul will leap from the fray to fill this roster slot early, but owners have been burned by this strategy in the past.
The clear leader in the Team Defense world is the Jets, with or without all-world cornerback Darrelle Revis, followed by the Vikings. The debates at this position begin as early as the third slot, with the Eagles, Packers, 49ers, Ravens and Steelers all vying for attention at the top.
Does Troy Polamalu’s hair put the Steelers over the top? Does the sight of Patrick Willis tormenting opposing quarterbacks get you fired up? Ray Lewis?
