Gene Chizik Talks Up His Book: Robert Wuhl Asks The Hard Question
Earlier this week, Auburn coach Gene Chizik joined “The Robert Wuhl Show” to talk about his new book – All In – What It Takes To Be The Best. Chizik talked about his formative years, coaching dilemmas and his 2010 Auburn Tigers squad.
The meat of the interview starts in the seventh minute of the podcast. Wuhl questioned Chizik about a passage from page 164 of the book in which he described the dismissal of four players from the team following a robbery charge in March.
“Auburn police said Mike McNeil, Antonio Goodwin, Shaun Kitchens and Dakota Mosley were each charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of third-degree theft of property.”
Wuhl tied the dismissal and Chizik’s strong language in the book regarding his handling of the issue to the swift appeal made by the team in support of Cam Newton. Check it out below.
