Game Time is Upon Us: The Storylines are on the Field

After experiencing the myriad issues impacting the Dallas Super Bowl of 2011, the skeptical eyes and icepick-sharp pens were out and ready to carve up Indianapolis. Unfortunately for those scribes, everything flowed brilliantly this week in Indianapolis. All events were held within walking distance of one another, the weather cooperated and the people of Indianapolis couldn’t have been nicer.

I suppose fans and out-of-town writers could bicker about the cost of parking garages, the swarm of people in the downtown area because of that concentrated run of bars, hotels, and eating establishments. If those were the biggest issues to overcome, then everybody won.

And on Sunday, Lucas Oil Stadium will be front and center in the sporting world. I suspect we’ll be back soon …
