WR Coach Drake Talks of Johnny Knox Trade Demand
Earlier this week, 2010 breakout star Johnny Knox was demoted from the first team on the Bears’ first depth chart. Devin Hester gets the nod opposite Roy Williams in year two of the Martz offense.
Reports surfaced that Knox had requested a trade following the move, and quotes from Mike Martz don’t help things. Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune relayed Martz’s musings about Knox, particularly the given, not earned line .
