Robert Kraft Talks London and The NFL
The eyes of the sporting world are starting to drift toward London for this iteration of the Summer Olympic Games. The Olympic Trials have been televised in prime time, and my Twitter feed has been chock-full of updates about fantastic finishes, the glory of Michael Phelps and that excitement that builds just ahead of the opening ceremonies.
With the Olympics shortly off in the distance, Robert Kraft was in London to talk about the Patriots’ upcoming preseason game against the Rams. Kraft spoke about the dominance of the NFL in America, citing the ridiculous ratings for this year’s Super Bowl between the Patriots and Giants. He told Sky Sports that he hopes to get a team in London by the end of the decade and that the owners hope to have two games there as early as next year.
