TIME’s Most Influential: Lin, Tebow and Rihanna

One of the big stories circulating mid-week is the release of the TIME magazine “100 Most Influential List.” Included therein are leaders of industry, politics, entertainment and sports.

As you’d expect, the list is populated with luminaries such as Warren Buffett, Tim Cook, President Obama and Mitt Romney. You might not expect to see them joined by Stephen Colbert, Kristin Wiig, Adele …. or Jeremy Lin.

Only Tebow’s dramatic second-half run in 2011 and playoff win over the Steelers captivated a sporting nation more than Lin’s rise in New York.
