IWYF: Too Many Mouths For Tom Brady In Tampa?

Halloween passed some time ago. You wouldn’t have know that this past weekend, as the NFL-loving world watched a horror show on SNF. The Saints absolutely throttled the Buccaneers by a final count of 38-3. Yeah, they avoided the shutout.

Drew Brees spread the ball around to myriad receivers, and the team welcomed back wide receiver Michael Thomas to the mix. And here’s the thing — Tampa Bay did a pretty good job of keeping Alvin Kamara in check. It didn’t matter, not that Thomas loaded up on stats, because Brees clocked in at 222 yards with four passing touchdowns.

Conversely, Tom Brady struggled mightily, tossing three interceptions in the lopsided defeat. As a result, the talking heads were at it early on Monday with the age-old (more than 43) Brady debates and dismissals. Five of his seven interceptions this season have come against the Saints.

Dan Beyer and I discussed the Buccaneers from the fantasy angle. This putrid effort aside (yes, Gronk dropped a would-be TD pass), who do you trust in your lineup going forward. Brady will still be a top-12 option most weeks, but the receivers are cannibalizing one another. What are you to do?
