Harmon’s Week 11 Preliminary Fantasy Rankings
It’s the final week of the dreaded Bye season. That’s right. The long annual nightmare of scrambling to the waiver wire or deep on the bench to find a replacement is coming to an end. Of course, the injury list continues to grow each and every week. In Week 9, we watched injuries pile up at running back. In Week 10, a number of quarterbacks hit the trainer’s table. Fantasy owners with elite wide receivers on their rosters are nervous heading into Week 11.
And that brings us into the new week of action. We have the Bills and Dolphins on Thursday night, and there are some fantastic matchups on tap. Fantasy hero Carson Palmer rolls up in a great spot versus New Orleans. Peyton Manning and the Broncos host the Chargers in a HUGE AFC West contest.
But everyone’s pointing toward Sunday night football and Byron Leftwich stepping in for Ben Roethlisberger. We talk about the big wind-up and whether he can get Mike Wallace involved (I’m not ready to dismiss the speedster). And then there’s Monday night. You’ve got a date of “two bad hombre defenses” (all apologies to John Madden) and questions at quarterback. Can the Bears run the football and replicate the success of Steven Jackson from Week 10?
Let’s get into the preliminary rankings. Obviously, we’ll keep tabs on the myriad injury situations heading into kickoff. You can get your information and entertainment with us on FOX Sports Radio Sunday morning from 9a-12p ET or head onto FOXSports.com/fantasy and head into the chat room with Halpin, Fowler and Beall.
Lock and load. Let’s get it on.
