DeAngelo Williams to Injured Reserve

The Panthers stopped the speculation about the status of free agent-to-be DeAngelo Williams. On Wednesday, the bruised and battered Panthers placed Williams on injured reserve. Will he return?

Jonathan Stewart and Tyrell Sutton did not practice Wednesday, thereby leaving Week 10 sleeper special Mike Goodson in the driver’s seat … against Haloti Ngata, Terrence Cody and the Baltimore defensive line.

Quarterback Jimmy Clausen was also held out because of a concussion. Tony Pike would be under center if Clausen is not cleared for action.
