Child’s Play in Vegas: Jump in the Sandbox
Idle construction equipment is getting new life in Las Vegas. The great hub of nightlife and chicanery, long noted as an adult playground, has a new toy. “Dig This” opened to give people an opportunity to learn how to use the equipment and move mountains (or piles of sand and rocks).
For $750 per hour, people can learn to use an excavator or bulldozer after completing a short training session. Sadly, the economy has left many of these machines idle, so Ed Mumm got creative.

I’m intrigued. Do I get a certificate to take to a prospective employer? Do I get a discounted rate if I were to then rent a piece of equipment? You know, maybe I can leave less of a deposit before I roll it down the street?
