Francoeur Extends Streak to 16 Games

Kansas City Royals outfielder and former fantasy hero for the Braves, Jeff Francoeur, has quietly pieced together a nice season. Francoeur extended his hitting streak to 16 games on Wednesday night with a 2-for-4 effort that included his fifth home run of the year. Francoeur is batting .330 this season (30-for-91) with 13 extra-base hits and 19 RBI. The 27-year old former first-round pick has also swiped three bases along the way.

Francoeur has hit safely in all but three games this season.
