Top 10 Big-Play Receivers 2010

Each and every week, we dissect teams, players, injuries and individual matchups ad nausea. We try to find the holes in a defensive secondary or gaps in the trenches.

No matter how well things play out according to plan, a single play can make all of your right “gut” feelings, the astute analysis and projections – dead wrong. A slipped arm tackle, in-game injury substitution or early deficit (or lead) can change things immensely.

With that, I offer you a quick look at the top 10 “Big-Play” receivers as we roll toward the conclusion of NFL Week 6. Interestingly, Greg Jennings’ 86-yard touchdown reception against the Dolphins was only his second such reception of the year.

* Two of the leaders sustained significant injuries on Sunday. We’ll be monitoring the progress of DeSean Jackson and Antonio Gates.
