Dwyane Wade was the unquestioned star of the Heat’s Game 3 win over the Mavericks on Sunday night, though you have to give Chris Bosh credit for knocking down the baseline jumper that proved to be the game-winner. LeBron James made plays defensively and found Bosh for the game-winner, but Gregg Doyel of CBS Sports asked the question that was on everyone’s minds in the post-game press conference.
Why wasn’t LeBron commanding the ball and trying to take over the fourth quarter? Why did he defer to Wade? I don’t know that I’d have used the word “shrinking,” but I thought Doyel’s question was on point.
