No. 6: Atlanta Trades Up to Grab Julio Jones

I got the player right in my mock draft … except he goes to a different squad.

Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones – he of the 4.39-second 40-yard dash on a broken foot – is the piece that Atlanta felt it was missing. He’s a fantastic receiver over the middle and can stretch things. He’ll engage as a blocker and shows no fear of contact.

I love the aggressiveness. Put Jones on the field opposite Roddy White with Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner on in support of Matt Ryan. Arthur Blank paid a big price for the privilege, but Atlanta fans have to applaud the “Win Now!” mentality.
