No. 12: Minnesota Selects Christian Ponder, QB, Florida State

The Vikings eschewed the selection of an offensive lineman and instead selected the post-Favre guy. Ponder was a question mark after working through a shoulder injury last season. The stats don’t pop off of the page, but he’s a gamer and one to battle.
