Freeman Had a Gun Mishap

It’s been a tough season for Josh Freeman and the Buccaneers, to say the least.

  • Raheem Morris is under fire in Tampa for the team’s quick descent to the basement of the NFC South.
  • The team is playing before a ton of empty seats.
  • Freeman’s turnover count has risen markedly.

Now comes word from Ira Kaufman of The Tampa Tribune that Freeman experienced a thumb injury when a gun recoiled during his visit to a firing range. The thumb injury prompted an inquiry to the league office from Sean Payton when Freeman wasn’t on the official report. Tampa fans have been wondering about Freeman’s frequent misfires this season.
