Chad Smith & Will Farrell In Jimmy Fallon Drum-Off

For years, we’ve heard the comments about the striking resemblance of drummer Chad Smith and comedian/actor Will Ferrell. I still contend that Farrell has a bit of Mark Lanegan running up there.

Anyway, Smith & Farrell agreed to a “Traditional Drum-Off” on Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.” Ultimately, the Farrell earned the win through the crafty use of a cowbell, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers joined in for a rendition of “Don’t Fear The Reaper” from Blue Oyster Cult.
